WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 -- Rep. Summer Lee, D-Pennsylvania, issued the following news release on Oct. 23, 2024:

Today, Congresswoman Summer Lee (D-PA) sent a letter to Glenda Hudson Owens, Acting Director of the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) at the U.S. Department of the Interior, requesting updates on the implementation of critical recommendations to improve the Abandoned Mine Land Economic Revitalization (AMLER) program.
