RALEIGH, North Carolina, Oct. 24 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina issued the following news release:

New Bern resident Anthony Lynch, 35, pled guilty to charges that he defrauded a program designed to help struggling North Carolina residents stay in their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
