WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 -- Rep. Earl L. Carter, R-Georgia, issued the following news release:
DARIEN Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) today released the following statement in response to the ferry dock collapse on Sapelo Island, which caused at least seven fatalities and sent eight individuals to the hospital:
"My heart breaks for Sapelo Island, the Gullah-Geechee community, the victims, and the families grieving a loved one following yesterday's trag . . .
