TRENTON, New Jersey, Oct. 19 -- New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin issued the following news release on Oct. 18, 2024:

Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) Commissioner Robert Asaro-Angelo today jointly announced a $2.7 million settlement with a delivery firm that was misclassifying workers as independent contractors rather than as employees.
