WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 -- Sen. Mark Warner, D-Virginia, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Sens. Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine (both D-VA) announced $2,192,538 in federal funding to support projects across Southwest Virginia. The funding was awarded by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), an economic development agency of the federal government and 13 state governments that innovates and invests to build community capacity and strengthen economic growth in 423 counties . . .
