CONCORD, New Hampshire, Oct. 18 -- New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella issued the following news release on Oct. 17, 2024:
Attorney General John M. Formella announces that the New Hampshire Department of Justice has completed its investigation in the officer-involved shooting that took place on March 8, 2024, on Gooseberry Circle in Rochester, New Hampshire. During this incident, Joseph Russell (age 36) was shot and killed when he aimed a loaded gun at police officers.
