WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 -- The Solar Energy Industries Association issued the following news release on Oct. 17, 2024:
NEW YORK -- Today Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) announced that the state has reached 6 gigawatts (GW) of distributed solar installations, accomplishing the goal set in the State's Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act more than a year ahead of the 2025 deadline.
