WASHINGTON, Oct. 16 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. In the two months since President Biden's major disaster declaration for South Dakota, federal agencies have approved more than $14.7 million in grants and loans to assist in recovery.

To date, a total of 1,407 people in Davison, Lincoln, Turner, and Union counties have applied with FEMA for assistance. FEMA has approve . . .
