TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma, Oct. 16 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news on Oct. 15, 2024:
Members of the 2024-2025 Cherokee Nation Tribal Youth Council were sworn in by Cherokee Nation Supreme Court Justice Shawna Baker during an inauguration ceremony recently.
Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. provided keynote remarks and thanked the new youth council for their service.
