TUSKEGEE, Alabama, Oct. 16 (TNSres) -- The Tuskegee University issued the following news:
Tuskegee University has been awarded the first phase of an $11 million grant by National Health Genome Research Institute to establish a Center in Genomic Research. The Carver Genomic Research Center will focus on addressing health disparities in the Black Belt South by studying genetic factors that contribute to diseases like cancer in minority populations.
