WASHINGTON, Oct. 15 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., approved a major disaster declaration for South Carolina on Sept. 29, 2024. Federal disaster assistance is available to the state of South Carolina to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by Tropical Storm Debby on Aug. 4-22, 2024.
