WASHINGTON, Oct. 10 -- The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee issued the following news release:

During tonight's first debate in New York's Eighteenth Congressional District, Alison Esposito admitted that she doesn't think gun violence is a real issue impacting Hudson Valley families: "We don't have a gun problem in this country."
