CAPE GIRARDEAU, Missouri, Oct. 5 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri issued the following news release on Oct. 3, 2024:
A former Cape Girardeau city councilman has been indicted on drug and gun charges.
Rhettney B. Pierce, 54, was indicted Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Cape Girardeau on one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and one count of being an unlawful user of a controlled substance in possession . . .
