BLACKSBURG, Virginia, Sept. 30 -- Virginia Tech issued the following news:
Greg Young, associate professor of aerospace and ocean engineering at Virginia Tech, has been named the Mary Virginia Jones Research Professor in Rocketry by the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors.
The creation of this professorship in the College of Engineering allows Virginia Tech to generate new interest in rocketry. It was established with a gift from Mary Virginia Jones.
