Bill prevents a lapse in benefits for veterans and their families nationwide

On Thursday, U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13)'s Extension of Department of Veterans Affairs Expiring Authorities Act of 2024 was signed into law as part of the temporary funding bill that will keep the government funded through December 20. This is Rep. Sykes' first bill to become law.
