EPA Extends Public Comment Period on Proposed Changes to Cleanup Plan for the Welsbach & General Gas Mantle Superfund Site at Gloucester Marine Terminal in New Jersey

WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:

Gloucester City, N.J. - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is extending the public comment period for the proposed modification of the cleanup plan for the Welsbach & General Gas Mantle Superfund Site. Originally set to end on September 17, the new deadline for public comments is now October 17. The EPA held a public meeting on August 19 to explain the proposed plan.
