BLACKSBURG, Virginia, Sept. 19 -- Virginia Tech issued the following news:
Jerry Dean Cain, former general Ccounsel to Virginia Tech, died Aug. 29 in Houston after a lengthy illness. He was 86.
Cain was appointed general counsel to Virginia Tech in 1989. The Office of General Counsel is the university's legal office providing legal advice, counsel, and representation for the university and its employees for university related business. Cain stepped down from that lead r . . .
