JUNEAU, Alaska, Sept. 17 -- Alaska Attorney General Treg R. Taylor issued the following news release:
On Sept. 13, 2024, Superior Court Judge Phillip Pallenberg sentenced 47-year-old Sonya H. Taton to 50 years in prison for murdering a boyfriend in 2019 and stabbing another boyfriend in 2016.
Taton was convicted of Murder in the Second Degree and Assault in the First Degree following a multi-week trial that concluded Nov. 17, 2023. Judge Pallenberg sentenced Taton to 60 . . .
