WASHINGTON, Sept. 13 -- Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-North Carolina, chairwoman of the House Education and the Workforce Committee, issued the following news release on Sept. 12, 2024:

Education and the Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) today highlighted the systemic issues with the financing of postsecondary education as the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a report on student loan repayment. Chairwoman Foxx requested that CBO study the issue in June of 2020.
