DENVER, Colorado, Sept. 13 -- Denver Mayor Mike Johnston issued the following news on Sept. 12, 2024:
Today Mayor Mike Johnston submitted the City and County of Denver's 2025 budget proposal to City Council. The 2025 General Fund budget is $1.76 billion, a 0.6% increase over the 2024 budget of $1.74 billion. Aside from the pandemic, this is the smallest annual budget increase since 2011.
