PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, Sept. 13 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Rhode Island issued the following news release:
A Providence man has admitted to a federal judge that he participated in an international fraud scheme to defraud the federally-funded pandemic unemployment compensation program of more than $70,000, and to defraud an Alabama-based property title company of an additional $80,000, announced United States Attorney Zachary A.
