WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 -- Rep. Dusty Johnson, R-South Dakota, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) introduced legislation to prohibit use of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-affiliated LiDAR technology to be used by the Department of Transportation (DOT). Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) is a remote sensing technology that captures detailed three-dimensional maps of surrounding environments with millimeter-level accuracy.
