WATERVILLE, Maine, Sept. 12 -- Thomas College issued the following news release:

Thomas College was recently awarded a $25,000 grant from the Davis Family Foundation to improve teacher education for middle-level students in Maine through curriculum development, field experiences, and professional development opportunities.
