LANSING, Michigan, Sept. 12 -- Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel issued the following news release on Sept. 11, 2024:
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel today announced the closure of the Department's investigation into Michigan State University (MSU) in the wake of the sexual abuse scandal by a former MSU employee. Nessel reopened the investigation following receipt of more than 6,000 documents that the University had withheld until earlier this year.
