WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 -- Rep. Jeff Jackson, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
The bipartisan Remote Access Security Act, introduced by Representatives Mike Lawler (R-NY), Jeff Jackson (D-NC), Rich McCormick (R-GA), and Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), passed the House of Representatives on Monday.
The bill will ensure that China cannot remotely access the American semiconductors and chips that they cannot purchase directly under Department of Commerce export . . .
