SPEARFISH, South Dakota, Sept. 12 -- Black Hills State University issued the following news:
Black Hills State University recorded an increase in first time freshmen in Fall 2024 for the fourth consecutive year and nearly met the retention record from Fall 2023 at a rate of 71%.
BHSU enrolled 490 first time freshmen for the highest mark in five years. Retention rates have been on the rise and have increased 10% overall since 2020.
