CHICAGO - U.S. South Asians a predominately immigrant population with heritage from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and/or Sri Lanka have a higher risk for developing and dying from heart problems than East Asians or non-Hispanic white people.
