WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 -- Rep. Michael Waltz, R-Florida, issued the following news release on Sept. 9, 2024:
On Monday, the United States House of Representatives passed U.S. Congressman Mike Waltz's H.R. 5613, the Sanctions Lists Harmonization Act, to require coordination between the federal agencies managing prohibited party lists whenever a new entity is added.
"Under current law, our federal agencies are not required to communicate when foreign entities are added . . .
