KANSAS CITY, Missouri, Sept. 6 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri issued the following news release on Sept. 5, 2024:

A man popularly known as Kansas City Chiefs superfan "ChiefsAholic" was sentenced in federal court today on charges related to a string of 11 robberies, or attempted robberies, in which he stole $847,725 from financial institutions in seven states.
