ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Sept. 6 -- The U.S. Justice Department's Drug Enforcement Administration's Seattle Division issued the following news release:

The leader of an extensive transnational drug trafficking organization was sentenced to 28 years in prison for running a conspiracy that trafficked vast amounts of dangerous drugs to Alaska.
