JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, Sept. 4 (TNSres) -- The University of the Witwatersrand issued the following news on Sept. 3, 2024:
The spectacular entry of a meteorite into Earth's atmosphere has unleashed a chain of events that would not be out of place in a Hollywood movie script.
At 8:52 am, residents from areas as far afield as the Garden Route on South Africa's South Coast (200km away), the Karoo, the Western Cape and Free State Provinces - all 300km (186 miles) away . . .
