AKRON, Ohio, Aug. 29 -- Akron Public Schools issued the following news on Aug. 28, 2024:
Akron Public Schools hosted GAR Foundation, United Way of Summit & Medina, and guests Tuesday to announce that GAR is the named sponsor of the Family Resource Center at North High School. The United Way's Family Resource Centers (FRCs) serve families and scholars by offering information and referrals for supportive resources.
