LOS ANGELES, California, Aug. 27 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for Central District of California issued the following news release on Aug. 26, 2024:
The City of Los Angeles has agreed to pay $38.2 million to resolve allegations that it knowingly failed to meet federal accessibility requirements when it sought and used U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant funds for multifamily affordable housing, the Justice Department announced today.
