SACRAMENTO, California, Aug. 22 -- The California Air Resources Board issued the following news release on Aug. 21, 2024:

Today at noon (PDT), California and Quebec released the results of the 40th joint cap-and-trade auction of carbon allowances from both jurisdictions. The final numbers include sales figures and settlement prices for Current Vintage (2019, 2021 & 2024) and Advanced Vintage (2027).
