WASHINGTON, Aug. 20 -- Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-New York, issued the following news release:

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik joined Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) in introducing the Modern Firearm Safety Act to prohibit states like New York and California from maintaining unconstitutional handgun rosters that require firearms to adopt costly, unnecessary features making it nearly impossible to sell new handguns.
