HELSINKI, Finland, Aug. 17 (TNSres) -- The University of Helsinki issued the following news release:

Genetic diversity, a key pillar of biodiversity, is crucial for conservation. But can snapshot estimates of genetic diversity reliably indicate population extinction risk?
