HOUSTON, Texas, Aug. 15 -- Rice University issued the following news release:

Rice University's incoming students can expect a Texas-sized welcome Sunday as they move to campus and participate in O-Week, the weeklong orientation program to familiarize incoming students with their new campus, residential colleges and classmates. Upperclassmen will greet newcomers by chanting their names, cheering upon arrival and helping them move their belongings into their residential colleges.
