BOSTON, Massachusetts, Aug. 15 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts issued the following news release on Aug. 14, 2024:
A Lowell woman was sentenced to prison today for conspiring to distribute controlled substances and conspiring to launder the proceeds in Massachusetts and Virginia.
Sathtra Em, 37, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Chief Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV to 21 months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised rele . . .
