WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:

Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced the introduction of legislation to make it easier for workers without 4-year college degrees, including veterans, to get federal jobs, and to promote hiring based on workers' skills rather than the degree they attain.
