WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 -- The National Park Service National Historical Park issued the following news release:

WILLIAMSPORT, Md. -- Edward "Ed" Wenschhof has been named the new deputy superintendent of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park (C&O Canal).
