WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio, July 30 -- The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center issued the following news:
An F-15 Strike Eagle assigned to Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., approaches a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to MacDill AFB, Fla., for refueling over the Gulf of Mexico, March 8, 2023. Air refueling provided by tanker aircraft enables the F-15 and other aircraft to stay in the air longer and avoid landing in combat-contested areas.
