DENVER, Colorado, July 30 -- The Colorado Senate Democrats issued the following news release:
Two bills aimed at supporting students by preventing overdoses and expanding access to health care will go into effect on August 7.
HB24-1003, sponsored by Representatives Barbara McLachlan and Mary Young and Senators Dafna Michaelson Jenet and Cleave Simpson, R-Alamosa, will make opiate antagonists and drug testing strips available on school buses and in school buildings. SB24 . . .
