WASHINGTON, July 26 -- Rep. Vern Buchanan, R-Florida, issued the following news release on July 25, 2024:
Congressman Vern Buchanan, Vice Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee and Chairman of the Health Subcommittee, announced today that he has introduced the Alzheimer's Law Enforcement Education Act with Congresswoman Nanette Barragan (D-CA). This legislation would establish a new training course for law enforcement officers responding to Alzheimer's patients.
