WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Today, Senator Thom Tillis announced a $27 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to go towards the replacement of up to 16 passenger boarding bridges at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). All funding comes directly from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) which Senator Tillis helped negotiate, write, and pass into law.
