WASHINGTON, July 23 -- Rep. Robin Kelly, D-Illinois, issued the following news release:
Today, Congresswoman Robin Kelly (IL-02) led the reintroduction of the Access to Birth Control Act. The legislation would guarantee patients' timely access to birth control, both prescribed and over the counter, at pharmacies nationwide. In April, U.S. Senators Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Patty Murray (D-WA) introduced companion legislation in the Senate.
