Today, U.S. Senator Alex Padilla (D-Calif.), Chair of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, and Border Safety, and Representative Raul M. Grijalva (D-Ariz.-07) led 29 lawmakers in urging U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to implement the U.S. Government Accountability Office's (GAO) recommendations to address CBP's mishandling of migrant possessions.
