WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Today, Senator Thom Tillis released the following statement regarding the replacement of the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, which was made possible by a $242 million grant from the from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) which Senator Tillis helped negotiate, write, and pass into law:
"The replacement of the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge is a critical investment in Wilmington . . .
