Today, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Congressman Andrew Garbarino stood with The Pines Foundation and advocates on Fire Island to announce the bipartisan, bicameral Fire Island AIDS Memorial Act. This bill would authorize The Pines Foundation to establish a memorial to honor Fire Island residents who died of AIDS. New York was at the epicenter of the AIDS epidemic in the United State . . .
