WASHINGTON, July 15 -- Rep. Morgan Griffith, R-Virginia, issued the following news release:
Florida District Court Judge Aileen Cannon issued an opinion today dismissing Special Counsel Jack Smith's case against U.S. President Donald Trump over Trump's handling of classified documents. Smith's case is dismissed on the grounds that it violated the Appointments Clause of the U.S. Constitution. U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:
