SAN DIEGO, California, July 12 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of California issued the following news release on July 11, 2024:
Ernesto Saldivar, a civilian contractor at General Dynamics NASSCO who was employed as part of the shipyard's modernization efforts, was sentenced in federal court today to 18 months in prison for stealing almost $600,000 worth of computer equipment from several U.S. Navy ships.
